Our last day on tour was amazing. We got up at about 8 o'clock because we had to go to Shangai again. The sun was shining so one more time we could admire Zhujiajiao. We ate some nice Chinese food which you can see in the photos. It was freshly prepared and very tasty. Younger and his wife left their child with the grandfathers and both them, their mothers and the three of us went to Shanghai. The trip in the old car was sometimes quite funny but to tell you the truth it was also a bit dangerous. No seat belts, the chairs were not fastened to the floor... scary!
You can see the contrast between the village and a city. Our last moments together in Shanghai were short. We were talking about some funny things we did and saw, and of course about Gao Shimin... let's .................. :-)
Than alone I went to the green line metro and went to the Pudong airport. I was lucky to get into Maglev again. This time it reached it's top speed of 431 km/h. 30 km in 7 minutes. You can watch the whole journey. I've just read that the Chinese government wants to connect Hangzhou (the lake city) with Shanghai using 200 km long Maglev. The funny taxi journey which took us about 2,5 hours, than the train journey of 1,5 hour will change into only 30 minutes with the top speed of 450 km/h. That is amazing!
You can see the Pudong airport and the same people :-) I had a short chat with that nice old man and his wife. They remembered me quite well. I showed them the photos I took. (I met them once more in Amsterdam).
The last airplane was the Embraer. I was in Warsaw about 23:00. Of course they lost my luggage in Amsterdam. Fortunately I got it yesterday.
