It really wasn't planned. As we used to say during our visit in Shanghai: "Shanghai no schedule", once more this appeared to be the whole truth. Our friend B6 said that Zhujiajiao was a great place. He knows some people there, so we decided to go. Of course there was a possibility to play a small gig for the local audience, so there was a good motivation for us.
The gig was not big and not loud. But still, very nice and friendly atmosphere influenced everything we played. I really liked the people sitting around the fire, drinking green tea and listening to our music. It was the last gig during our visit in Shanghai but I will remember it forever.
After the gig we went with a few friends to eat my last real Chinese meal. It was delicious and the Kung Fu Fighting at the table was the best. I started the discussion about the Kung Fu and than all the Zhujiajiao friends decided to start the Tai Chi lessons. I think it's really great!
zen lu:
Zhu Jiajiao is is a clean place, the old town surrounded by rivers, quiet street, the simple folk.in ancient times, here was a very important commercial town,at that time, no cars and trains, all materials have to rely on water transport, here was the second largest barn.Today, many local residents to move to big cities, leaving only the elderly. Many people began to dream of country life, so here become a gathering place for tourists.Anyway, this is the most beautiful places we have seen in China.
Younger is my friend,he worked at a museum in Shanghai 3 years ago,Soon he was disgusted city life,so he moved to Zhu Jiajiao old town, and founded a hostel called Cao Tang.Younger told us the gig started at 9pm,we decided play ambient, becasue an old woman lived at next door, she slept very early.few audiences, small sound. For us, this was a treat, we were completely relaxed.we did not do any communication, this gig was 17th improvisation of ChoP vol.1,We knew what kind of sound each other.
