It was my last day in Hong Kong. I got up at 9 am and decided to see the Giant Buddha (Lantau Island). Together with Zen Lu we tried to find the right bus. It was difficult, but finally, using 3 busses we managed to get to the top of the mountain.
To get to the Lantau island you have to cross the Tsing Ma Bridge. The world's longest road-and-rail suspension bridge, the graceful 2.2-kilometre Tsing Ma Bridge is one of the landmarks of Hong Kong.
The world's tallest outdoor seated bronze Buddha sits serenely atop Ngong Ping plateau amid spectacular mountain scenery. We also visited the nearby Po Lin Monastery. Although we were very tired, we had a lot of fun. I will remember my last day in Hong Kong forever.
Thank you ZEN LU !!
